Color me impressed!
I own a lot of holsters, but this is my first Allegiant. I ordered the OWB pancake in Desert Night camo with speed clips. The fit an finish is excellent, it looks sharp, has great retention, and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite holsters overall. This is my first OWB holster for a Micro Compact, which is not something I normally would consider for OWB, but recently I thought it would be a more comfortable way to carry while at home and doing things around the house. So far I'm really liking the comfortability and weight of a smaller firearm in OWB for this specific POU. Add a stretchy Hunter Constantine belt, gym shorts with belt loops, and you won't even notice you're wearing it. However, the speed clips are too flimsy and want to come undone when you're doing dynamic moves. That's not Allegiant's fault, they don't make the clips, so I won't take a star away for that. I plan to order the more traditional belt loops and trash the speed clips. Ideally someone will make better, more rigid clips, perhaps Discreet Carry Concepts could make a spring metal version, that would likely be gold for a venture into OWB by DCC. I like the idea of the speed clips, but quickly realized that they are not as reliable as I would like them to be, the bottom clip has slipped up on several occasions, causing the holster to pivot on the remaining clip.
